Crown says its Executive Suites "feel like a private residence complemented by the hotel's iconic service". The facts behind the phrase: 82 m², a spacious bedroom and living area with a study space, a richly upholstered lounge and armchairs, hand-crafted furniture, custom technology and a bathroom with dual vanities and a freestanding tub.
That is a big jump from the 55 m² Studio, and it is the first category where you can hold a meeting in the room without sitting on the bed.
The two questions
First, the view. Unlike the Premier rooms, the Studio and the club suite, the Executive Suite page does not mention the river or the skyline. That may simply be how the page was written, but if you are paying for a suite with a view in mind, confirm it.
Second, the club. Crown's menu calls this room the "Executive Club Suite", but the room page itself is titled "Executive Suite" and its amenity list does not mention Crystal Club access. The Premier Club View Suite and the Deluxe Villa do list it. Ask what your rate includes before assuming lounge access.
For
- Real living area with study space.
- Room for a small meeting.
- Freestanding tub and dual vanities.
Against
- No view claim on the room page.
- Club access not listed, despite the menu label.
- Roll-away bed is charged and not guaranteed.
My advice: book it for the space, not for the promises it does not make.
