This policy explains how Burswood Tower Review ("we") handles personal information. It was last updated on 1 November 2026.
What we collect
Only what you send through the room-request form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, guest numbers, dates, the room you are considering, any notes you write, and which page of the site the form was on. If you email us, we receive your email address and message. Like every website, our servers and our network provider receive technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you load a page.
Why we collect it
To answer your room request: to check availability and rates with the hotel's reservations team or a booking partner, to reply to you, and, if you decide to book, to pass your details to the hotel or partner that will make the reservation. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Who receives it
- Our booking desk, which handles your request.
- The hotel's reservations team or a booking partner, only when needed to check or arrange your stay.
- Service providers that host our website and systems and deliver notifications to our desk, who process data on our behalf.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Overseas processing
Our website is hosted on DigitalOcean servers in Sydney, Australia, and served through Cloudflare's network. Requests are forwarded from there to our booking desk's systems, which may be hosted outside Australia, including in the United Kingdom. Where data leaves Australia, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and shows no advertising. Fonts are served from our own server, not from a third party.
Google Maps
The getting-there page embeds a Google Map, which loads as you scroll to it. The home page shows a map only after you press a button; until then nothing is requested from Google. When a map loads, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. Links to Google Maps routes open Google's site in a new tab.
How long we keep it
We keep request details for as long as we need them to answer you and to handle any booking that results, and longer only where the law requires records to be kept. You can ask us to delete your request at any time.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, by writing to hello@burswoodtowerreview.com. If you have a privacy complaint, write to us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner — see the Australian Privacy Principles at oaic.gov.au.
