If I had to pick the single facility that justifies Crown Towers over a city-centre hotel, it would be the pool area. Crown describes "a multi-tiered pool area" with "expansive lagoon pools and private cabanas, complimented by poolside dining and attentive wait staff". When the tower opened, the launch release credited the landscape architects Hassell with the design and described The Enclave as a secluded retreat of cabanas and a cocktail bar around a circular infinity pool.

What is hired, and for how much
Here is the part most guides skip. The daybeds, in-pool lounges, "leisure orbits" and cabanas are not first-come furniture: they are booked and paid for by the half day (8am–1pm or 2pm–7pm) or the full day. These are the prices in Crown's Crown Towers facilities menu, which I downloaded on 1 November 2026.
| Item | Mon–Thu half day | Mon–Thu full day | Fri–Sun & holidays half day | Fri–Sun & holidays full day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Poolside Day Bed | $195 | $365 | $375 | $545 |
| Poolside In-Pool Lounge | $125 | $240 | $205 | $400 |
| Leisure Orbit | $85 | $160 | $125 | $240 |
| The Enclave cabana | $275 | $495 | $495 | $715 |
The weekend column also applies on public holidays and school holidays — except the July school holidays, when Crown says midweek rates apply. Bookings are essential and subject to availability, and a 24-hour cancellation policy applies: cancel later, or do not turn up, and you pay the full hire fee.
Who can hire
Poolside reservations are only for registered guests staying at Crown Towers Perth and for Crown Spa Club members. Leisure items are for guests aged 18 or older. An Enclave cabana takes a maximum of six people, and Crown asks for at least four hours' notice so it can be set up. The cabana includes access to a private pool, two sun beds, an indoor lounge, a high-definition television, a designated host and a complimentary fruit platter or cheese board to share; the mini-bar is charged.
Opening hours and the rest of the pool complex
Crown's Poolside Bar & Grill page gives the outdoor pool hours as 7am to 8pm daily, with "no swimming after dark". The bar runs 10am to 6pm and the kitchen 11am to 5pm. The same page mentions a water playground for children and an indoor pool for cooler weather, and a separate private pool area called The Pavilion with six cabanas. It does not say which of these sit with Crown Towers and which with the wider complex, so I would not assume the water playground is steps from your room. A weekend surcharge of 10% on Saturdays, 15% on Sundays and 20% on public holidays applies at the bar and grill.
Accessibility
Crown's accessible-facilities document lists lift access from the lobby level to the Towers poolside, ramps to the pools and toilets, and a pool hoist; the accessible room pages also mention an aquatic wheelchair. Ask the desk to confirm the hoist is available on your dates.

My pool strategyStay Monday to Thursday if you can. Use the free loungers in the morning, and if you want a daybed, take the afternoon half (2pm–7pm) on the day you check out — check-out is 11am, and the pool keeps you busy until your flight.
