Crown Spa is in the tower itself, which is convenient if you are staying: down in the lift in a robe rather than across a casino floor. It is also open to people who are not staying, so weekends can be busy. Crown's page describes the journey starting with a greeting from the Crown Towers doorman.

The Aqua Retreat
Crown describes the retreat as a place to "rehydrate, refresh and soothe", with sauna, steam room, a therapeutic rain shower and a luxurious vitality pool. It is complimentary with treatments of an hour or longer, and Crown recommends arriving 60 minutes before your treatment to use it first. Swimwear is expected when moving around the shared areas, and Crown says no alcohol or glassware is allowed there. Salon bookings — hair, make-up, nails — do not include the retreat.
When the tower opened, Crown's release credited the designer Blainey North with the spa, inspired by "the beautiful refraction of light underwater", and listed an aroma steam room, a Roman hot tub and private relaxation areas in the wet zones. I mention it as history; the current page lists sauna, steam room, rain shower and vitality pool.
Rules to know before booking
- Changes or cancellations need at least 24 hours' notice; for groups of four or more, the same notice avoids a full charge.
- Pregnancy treatments are offered in the second and third trimesters only; a doctor's or midwife's letter is needed in the third.
- If you have a serious health condition or are in intensive medical treatment, Crown asks for written authorisation from your doctor.
- Mobile phones are discouraged inside the spa.
- A surcharge applies on Friday to Sunday and on public holidays; Crown lists prices as "from" pricing.
- Day visitors who book a treatment of an hour or more get four hours' complimentary valet parking; this does not apply to in-house guests.
The fitness centre
Crown Towers lists "a state-of-the-art fitness centre" among its facilities. The 2016 launch release described it as complimentary to hotel guests, with cardio and weights equipment and private training programmes. Crown's Poolside Bar & Grill page gives gym hours of 5am to 9pm daily. That is early enough for a workout before a 7am club breakfast.
For a run, Crown points guests to the cycling and running tracks along the Swan River. The Burswood Park paths start almost at the door — more on the Burswood page.
