The Studio is the room I would book for a stay longer than three nights. Crown describes it as bright and spacious with two walls of floor-to-ceiling windows, a welcoming entrance hall, a living area, and a bathroom with double vanities, a walk-in shower and a freestanding bath. The amenity list also promises views across the Swan River and the city skyline.
Why does an entrance hall matter? Because it separates the door from the bed. Room service, housekeeping and a partner coming back late do not open straight onto the sleeping area. Add a living area and you have a room where one person can work or watch television while the other sleeps.
Who Crown pitches it to
Crown's own description suggests the Studio for "a relaxed setting for a family break, or a luxury base for business". I agree with the business half. For a family, though, the Studio lists two guests and one king bed; the twin rooms take four. Check occupancy before booking it for children.
For
- Living area and entrance hall.
- Two walls of glass, river and skyline promised.
- Freestanding bath and walk-in shower.
Against
- Two guests only, one king bed.
- No club access included.
- Floor number not published.
If you need even more separation, the Executive Suite jumps to 82 m² with a study space.
